For more than ten years I was a Director of Digital Production at an advertising agency and network, leading digital work for some of Canada’s biggest retail brands, Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaw among them. My job was to take enormous, complicated projects, the ones with a hundred moving parts, tight deadlines, tighter budgets, and the occasional existential crisis, and actually get them built, launched, and working.

Before that I produced games. I helped launch Webkinz.com and produced Webkinz Friends on Facebook and iPad, which taught me very early how to turn brand-new technology into something real people use and enjoy. It also taught me patience, because the users were eight.

Here’s what all of that revealed. The tools are powerful, but the way they’re usually explained is intimidating, jargon-stuffed, and built for companies with entire departments. So the people who’d benefit most, small business owners doing everything themselves, end up standing outside, politely pretending to understand.

My mission is simple: to demystify technology for women business owners, and to help you keep learning, with a real emphasis on AI, the tool reshaping how business gets done right now. I don’t want a single woman to feel locked out of that, or quietly left behind by it. (That’s the sincere part. I only get one per page.)

So that’s what I do now. I take everything I learned running production for major brands and turn it into clear, practical, occasionally funny AI training for women running their own businesses. No hype, no overwhelm, just the useful version, so you can save time, do more of what you love, and grow.
